Privacy
This site holds personal information about living people in Lebanon, Brazil, France, the United States and elsewhere. Several of those places have real data protection law, and beyond the law it is simply other people's information. So:
What we hold
For family members: name, the city you tell us, an email address, optionally a phone number, and whatever you write about yourself. For people who have died: names, dates, places and photographs.
Who can see it
Details of living people are visible only to signed-in family members, never to the public and never to search engines. Each person controls, field by field, whether their city, email and phone are shown at all.
Children
Photographs of children are family-only by default and are published only with a parent's agreement. If you are a parent and want a photograph of your child removed, say so and it comes down — no discussion needed.
Taking yourself out
Any living person can ask to be removed from the public parts of this site, or from it entirely. Write to us and it is done. You do not have to give a reason.
What we do not do
No advertising, no analytics that follow you around, no selling anything to anybody, no sharing this data outside the family. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
